Bet you were wondering...

"Where did she go?" I bet that's what all of you were wondering about me. I know it!

Well, between school, work, clinicals, meetings, ministry, and all other aspects of life...I've just been trying to hold my head above water. But as I talk to friends around me, it sounds like I'm not the only one that feels like that.

Sometimes I wish I could blog as well as some of my friends...I read a lot of blogs during the week. Whether it's learning about a friend , keeping up with family, getting updates on who I am praying for, or reading about newlywed chefs, I keep up with them all. And there's even more to add to that list. I've always wanted to blog to interested readers, but my life seems so run-of-the-mill. Nevertheless, I still blog.

So, I bet you were wondering about my struggles I mentioned a while back. I've prayed, struggled some more, talked with mentors, and sought out answers in God's word...and I have arrived! God sent His son to die for our sins. To die for EVERYONE'S sin. John 3:16 does not say that "For God so loved certain people in the world that He sent his only Son for those chosen few, that if those few believe in Him, they will not perish but have everlasting life." No. It says "For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." So, the passages that Satan tried to trip me up with, confusing me with words like "predestined" are meant to show that God knew, before the world was ever spoke into existence, who would come to Him. He didn't sit there and go "Oh look, I like this person --magic point--, oo and this one!..." No. Now I know that might sound silly, but somehow in my sinful mind, I thought that what it was trying to say.

God is sovereign, He knows everything. He knew that I would ask Jesus into my heart when I was 7. He knew that my neighbor would never believe in Him. But he didn't plan for it all to happen that way. We're inherently sinful. And we have our own choices to make.

Short and sweet. Have a great week everyone!

I think this post was really well written- especially the last paragraph. That is something I wrestle with as well. Also, thanks for the blog shout out! I love that you read ours :) I like reading about what God is teaching you through your busy life. I think it's a good way for you to reflect on what He's doing. Soooo... post more often! :) Much love.
